MCO Terminal C Cruise Transfers: Find Your Pickup Without a Wrong-Terminal Trip
Arriving at MCO Terminal C? Separate baggage claim, shuttle zones and operator meeting instructions before heading for your Port Canaveral transfer.

If your flight arrives at MCO Terminal C, do not head for Terminal A just because you are taking a cruise shuttle. First check your operator’s meeting instructions. MCO lists shuttle pickup areas at Terminal C, but a particular service may still require you to meet in A. Your arrival terminal and your booked pickup terminal are two separate facts. [1, 3, 5]
This guide gets you from baggage claim to the right meeting point. For transport choices and the onward road journey, use our MCO-to-Port Canaveral guide.
Terminal C baggage claim is not the shuttle curb
MCO’s terminal map places Terminal C baggage claim and the meet-and-greet area on Level 6. Its shuttle pages place the pickup categories below on Level 1. A greeter meeting you upstairs and a vehicle loading downstairs can therefore be different parts of the same booking. Ask which one your confirmation describes. [1, 3, 4]
For A/B arrivals, the map lists the main baggage carousels on Level 2, with some baggage facilities on Level 1. Use your actual carousel and terminal signage rather than applying Terminal C’s floor plan to the older building. [1]
Use these zones to understand the category, not to guess your reservation
| MCO’s published Terminal C category | Listed location | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Shuttle vans | Level 1, C200–C204 | That your cruise operator loads there |
| Out-of-town shuttles | Level 1, C205–C209 | A reserved seat or a departure for your sailing |
| Other local hotel shuttles | Level 1, C270–C271 | That your particular hotel operates a Terminal C pickup |
| Airport shuttle bus connecting C and B | Level 1, C272; B stop is B65 | A ride to Port Canaveral |

Before moving the party, check the provider name, whether you meet a representative or the vehicle, terminal letter, level and exact bay or desk. If a confirmation only says “ground transportation,” ask for the missing location. Do not choose a bay from the table simply because a vehicle there looks suitable.
A real exception: Go Port uses Terminal A
Go Port’s own MCO pickup guide says its shuttles pick up and drop off at Terminal A, Level 1. For that service, a Terminal C arrival does require a terminal connection. The existence of C’s shuttle curb does not change the operator’s published meeting point. Reconfirm the instructions attached to your booking before travel. [5]
This is an operator example, not a recommendation or a rule for every cruise transfer. For another provider, ask whether it meets you at C before making the cross-airport trip.
There is also a directions discrepancy: Go Port’s blog describes crossing B to A on Level 1, while MCO’s own FAQ directs passengers to cross on Level 3. Use the airport’s layout instructions, check current signs and ask airport staff if anything differs. Do not copy the blog’s walking-time estimates into a cruise connection deadline. [2, 5]
If you really need A/B, choose the airport connection
MCO publishes two C-to-B connections: [2]
- Airport shuttle bus: the airport lists 24-hour service between C272 on C’s Level 1 and B65 on B’s Level 1. This puts you in B, not automatically at an A-side operator’s desk.
- Terminal Link automated people mover: MCO lists 24-hour service between Terminal B and the Train Station. Its FAQ describes a walk through Parking Garage C between Terminal C and the station; from C, follow the Level 4 route toward the station. This is not a train departing directly from C baggage claim.
MCO says A and B are opposite sides of the same building and directs travelers to Level 3 to cross. If you need A after arriving in B on the bus, that crossing is another step before descending to an A-side Level 1 meeting point. [2]
Choose a connection your party can manage with all bags and equipment. If you need assistance, arrange it with the airline rather than assuming your cruise-transfer driver can collect you inside the terminal. MCO directs wheelchair requests to the airline. [2]
Before leaving baggage claim
- Collect every checked item, including anything the airline took from you at the gate; ask the airline where it will be returned.
- Read the pickup confirmation for this operator, not another shuttle’s directions.
- Confirm whether the meeting is with a person upstairs or a vehicle at a curb.
- If pickup is at C, obtain the correct level and bay; do not add an A/B trip.
- If pickup is at A/B, follow MCO’s connection and crossing instructions with the whole party.
- Contact the operator if your arrival terminal changes or the baggage process makes your booked departure doubtful.
The right question is not “Where do cruise shuttles leave MCO?” It is “Where does my booked service meet this arrival?” Save that answer offline before the flight.
